Carnival Spirit Cruise

February 2003

This was the first cruise for both Kala and I. It was awesome! We went on an 8-day cruise that stopped at St. Maarten, Barbados, and Martinique with about 4 days that were all at sea. We went on the Carnival Spirit and were very impressed with the quality of the service staff, the entertainment, the food, and the room we had. We also got paired up with great dinner companions who we ended up spending a lot of time with during the cruise. We spent our time on St. Maarten exploring the many shops and bars along the beach. In Barbados we did an awesome snorkel and beach sail and ended up spending the night at a local bar on the beach. In Martinique, we didn't have a lot of time so we ended up doing a quick cab tour of the island. All in all it was a great way to "get away from it all" and relax in the sunshine.
